PRIVACY POLICY
Non-Equity Deputy.com, LLC (“Non-Equity Deputy”) is committed to
protecting your online privacy while providing you with the most useful
and enjoyable Web experience possible. This Privacy Policy (this
“Policy”) sets forth the collection and usage policies and practices
for personally identifiable and other information that apply to the
Non-Equity Deputy Web site (the “Site”). By going beyond the
Site’s homepage or participating in the Site’s networking and other

1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION. When You become a member with
Non-Equity Deputy, we ask that you create a Profile by providing
certain demographic, professional and personally identifiable
information that may include your name, postal address, e-mail address,
employment status, highest education level achieved, current and past
occupation. When you become a premium member with Non-Equity
Deputy, we also require that you to provide your credit card number and
billing information.
Like many Web site operators, Non-Equity Deputy does log your IP
address, browser type and domain name in the aggregate to (i) diagnose
problems on the Site’s servers, (ii) administer the Site, (iii) gather
broad demographic information, and (iv) give Non-Equity Deputy an idea
of which part of the Site you visit and how long you spend there.
Non-Equity Deputy does not link your IP address, browser type or domain
name to any personally identifiable information.
The Site offers networking services to users, which include internal
e-mail capabilities, message boards and contact populates. If you
post any of your personally identifiable, or other information on
message boards, e-mails or other publicly available pages on the Site,
such information may be collected and used by third parties not
affiliated with or controlled by Non-Equity Deputy. Non-Equity
Deputy is not responsible for the use made of such information by third
parties.
2. USE OF INFORMATION. Except as expressly provided herein to the
contrary, the information you provide to Non-Equity Deputy is
confidential and is maintained in our secure database. Non-Equity
Deputy will not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personally
identifiable information to any other organization who may be
interested in making solicited contacts. Non-Equity Deputy may use the
information we collect to notify you about your Profile, account,
changes to the Site and services offered in connection therewith, or to
verify your information. Non-Equity Deputy is a Web based
networking forum, therefore, you agree that certain information may be
disclosed to third parties as follows.
A. SERVICE RELATED DISCLOSURES. The Site is
designed primarily to connect job seekers with or provide information
about potential job contacts. [Accordingly, once a user becomes a
member or premium member of the Site, Non-Equity Deputy may post
elements of your Profile in response to certain queries. The
elements of your Profile Non-Equity Deputy may disclose will consist of
your user name you create, your employer and its location, your
previous employer and its location, your current and previous
occupation, your level of education, your status as a user of the Site
and your member rating. In addition, the user name you create may
be displayed throughout the Site as a past contact or potential contact
or as the creator of any communication you post to the Site.
Accordingly, if you associate your name or other personally
identifiable information with the user name you create, your activities
on the Site may be identifiable to third parties.]
B. LEGAL RELATED DISCLOSURES. Non-Equity
Deputy may disclose your account information to comply with a
governmental entity request or with any legal proceeding or process, or
if we believe in good faith that such release is necessary in order to
protect the rights, property or safety of Non-Equity Deputy, our users
or other third parties.
C. BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS, BUSINESS TRANSITION
AND FUNCTIONALITY RELATED DISCLOSURES. Non-Equity Deputy may
transfer and disclose aggregated and personally identifiable
information with a business partner or with a third party who is
acquired by, merges with or acquires all or a portion of the assets of
Non-Equity Deputy, or with companies or individuals Non-Equity Deputy
employs to perform functions for the Site or for Non-Equity Deputy,
including, but not limited to hosting the Site and Web servers,
analyzing data or providing customer service. In such an
instance, Non-Equity Deputy will require that personally identifiable
information be kept confidential.
D. DATA AGGREGATION OR MARKETING RELATED
DISCLOSURES. Non-Equity Deputy may disclose information to third
parties in a non-personally identifiable manner to improve Non-Equity
Deputy’s marketing and promotional activities, statistically analyze
usage of the Site or improve the Site’s content.
E. CREDIT CARD RELATED DISCLOSURES. When
you use your credit card to become a premium member of the Site,
Non-Equity Deputy requires that you provide certain financial and
personally identifiable information. By becoming a premium member
with the Site, you consent to Non-Equity Deputy providing your
personally identifiable and financial information to our service
providers and to such third parties as Non-Equity Deputy determines are
necessary to support and process your credit card payments. Only
such personally identifiable information as necessary to perform the
foregoing functions will be disclosed.
3. SECURITY. Non-Equity Deputy has taken security measures to
protect against loss, misuse, or alteration of the information we
collect from you and that is under our control. Your personally
identifiable information transmitted to the Site is password-protected,
and you are responsible for all actions taken with your password.
Non-Equity Deputy uses Secure Socket Layer encryption technology
(“SSL”) during the transmission of logon identification and passwords,
and during the process of collecting financial and personally
identifiable information via the Internet. Despite these reasonable
efforts, you should be aware that transmissions by means of the
Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Non-Equity
Deputy has no liability for disclosure of your information due to
errors or unauthorized and improper acts. To assist Non-Equity Deputy
in taking reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorized use of your
personally identifiable information, please keep your password
confidential.
4. COOKIES. Like many other commercial Web sites, the Site may
use standard technology called a “cookie,” which is a small data file
that certain Web sites write to your hard drive that can only be read
by the Web server in the domain that issued you the cookie. Some
parts of the Site uses cookies so that Non-Equity Deputy can better
serve you when you return to the Site. Cookies do not contain any
personally identifiable information.
5. MODIFICATION. As the services available on the Site may change from
time to time, Non-Equity Deputy may, at any time without notice, amend
or modify this Policy by updating this Web page. Therefore, you should
review this page from time to time so that you will be aware of any
such modifications.
6. THIRD PARTY SITES. The Site contains links to other Web sites over
which Non-Equity Deputy has no control (“Third Party Sites”), and this
Policy does not cover those Third Party Sites. Non-Equity Deputy does
not share your personally identifiable information with Third Party
Sites and is not responsible for their privacy policies, practices or
statements, if any. We encourage you to learn about the privacy
policies of any Third Party Sites you visit.
7. CHILDREN. The Site is not directed to children under the age
of 16, and Non-Equity Deputy does not knowingly collect or use any
information from children under the age of 16.
8. MODIFYING INFORMATION. You may review, correct, update or
change your Profile information at any time by editing such information
in your Profile. Upon your request, Non-Equity Deputy will
deactivate your account, Profile, billing information and other
information from public viewing from the Site. To make a
deactivation request, email privacy@non-equitydeputy.com. Such
information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible.
Although not viewable by the public, some personally identifiable
information will be retained by the Site to prevent fraud, resolve
disputes, enforce our Terms & Conditions of Use Agreement, assist
with investigations, comply with legal requirements or for any other
reasonable purposes.
